Outfy allows you to manage and automate your posts across social media platforms, including Threads by Meta. To start using Threads with Outfy, your Threads profile must be properly linked through your Instagram account, as Threads currently functions as an extension of Instagram.
This guide walks you through the complete process of connecting your Threads account to Outfy and resolving any issues you might encounter.
Prerequisites #
Before you begin, please ensure the following:
1. Your Instagram account is connected to Threads
Threads uses your Instagram credentials to operate. You cannot connect Threads separately; it must be tied to an existing Instagram profile.
2. You are logged out of Instagram and Threads in other browser tabs
This avoids conflicts that can cause connection errors or log the wrong account.
3. You have your Instagram credentials (username/email and password) ready for login during the process.
4. Use a desktop browser (recommended: Chrome or Firefox) in incognito/private mode for the cleanest experience.
Steps to Connect Threads to Outfy #
Step 1: Log Out of Instagram and Threads
- Close any browser tabs where you are logged into Instagram or Threads.

Step 2: Open Outfy
- Go to Outfy and log in to your Outfy account.
