Promotions Guide

1. Intro

To grow, you have to promote your store. For example on special days or for specific lines of products or customised deals, and other kinds of promotional strategies.

Outfy can help you do all this easily. To get started and create promotions with Outfy, please locate the Promotions tab in the navigation bar.

2. Promotion Page

Once you click on Promotions, you will arrive at the Promotions landing page. On this page, you will notice there are three kinds of promotions you can create and run with Outfy - Standard Promotion, Generic Promotion, and PromoQ.

You will also see the list of promotions you have created and are running currently. In addition to creating new promotions, you can edit and delete your ongoing promotions on this page.

We will now explain each kind of promotion in detail. Let's get into Standard Promotion first.

3. Standard Promotion

This is the section for two things that you can do with promoting a particular line of products from your store.

One, you will view your existing Standard promotions by clicking on the "My Promotions" button.

Note: If you edit an existing Standard promotion, do not forget to save it.

Two, create a new product promotion. There are different kinds of promotions you can run. On this page, you choose the kind of promotion you want. For example, Good Friday or Winter Sale or Spring, and the like. You have multiple options.

Add products

On this page you add products you wish to use in your Standard promotion.

Note: You can add a maximum of three products for each standard promotion. The default image of each product chosen is used to create the promotion with.

Edit promotion

This is the page where you edit your promotion.

For example, Scale the image - by stretching the corners. Rotate - by the vertical rope of every image. Adjust opacity, change shape, border color/width etc.

You can also do things with the text - like inline editing, change color font type, font size, alignment, etc.

Once you set your promotion, you may or may not choose to add your store logo to it. It's up to you. The screencap shows you how to add, scale, show, etc.

Create Promotion

After the logo section, you save and continue and land on this page, where you add some intro text for your promotion (including hashtags), choose the social media network or networks you want to run the promotion on, and how often.

Note: You have to write the text and set schedules for each network you want to run the promotion on.

Your promotion is ready now. Once you write the intro text and set schedules, click on “Create Promotion”. It will then appear on your promotions page as one of the running promotions.

4. Generic Promotion

This is the section for creating generic promotions for your store. On this page, you will see your existing generic promotions, which you can edit or delete.
