Twitter Post Guide

1. Connect to Twitter

Go to the Networks page. Click on the Twitter tab to proceed. If your Twitter account is not connected to Outfy, you will see a button - Add Twitter Account.

Connect to Twitter

Click on the button and start connecting your Twitter account to Outfy. A window will appear that says this: Click on Connect your Twitter Account.

Note: You need a Twitter account to connect it to Outfy. If you don't, please create one. Once you do that, you can connect it to Outfy and use Outfy's network features to promote your store on Twitter.

Connect to Twitter

Once your social media account is connected to Outfy, it will remain so - unless you (or the social media network) change any settings or credential-related information in the social media account (s). If such a thing occurs, you have to reconnect your social media account (s) to Outfy.

When you click Connect your Twitter account, it will take you to a box that will prompt you to log in to your Twitter account and authorise Outfy to access it. Please do the needful.

2. Twitter Settings

You are on the Networks page. Your Facebook account and page is connected to Outfy - it will show under the Twitter Tab.

First things first, you can expand or contract the Twitter section by clicking on this arrow.

Twitter Settings

When you expand it, the first thing you will see is a button that allows you to disconnect Twitter from your network shares. But you don't want to do that now, because you have to be connected to post to Twitter.

Under the disconnect button you will see the settings for Twitter posts - these allow you to share three kinds of Twitter posts, i.e., a link post, a single image post, and a multiple images post.

Under this section of the kind of posts you can create is a link that takes you to a section that allows you to Manage Post Templates.

Note: Post templates are formats you can use to create, manage and share posts in a social network easily. You will find a guide to Manage Post Templates here.

3. Types of Twitter posts

Post as a link

Your Twitter post can be just a link. A link post is clickable on all parts of the post. When clicked, it will take the visitor to the linked part of your store. To post as a link, choose the link option in the Twitter part of connected networks.

Post as a single image post

Your Twitter post can be a single image with a link in the caption that the visitor can click to visit that part of the store. To post a single image post, choose the image option in the Twitter part of connected networks.

Post as a single image post

Post as an album post

Your Twitter post can be an album post, i.e., multiple images (maximum of 4) with a caption and link for each image that the visitor can view and click - using the arrow keys - to visit each part of the store. To post an album post, choose the image and multiple image option in the Twitter part of connected networks.
