# Downgrading your subscription

If you’d like to switch to a lower-tier plan or even the Free plan, Outfy makes it easy to downgrade your subscription from your dashboard.

---

## Steps to Downgrade Your Subscription

You can downgrade your current plan at any time using the **Subscription History** section or from the pricing page itself in your account. Here’s how:

### **Step-by-Step Instructions:**

- **Log in** to your Outfy account at https://outfy.com.
- Click the **menu icon** in the **top-right corner** of the screen.
- From the dropdown, select **“Account”** and navigate **“Subscription History”** page.

- Click the **“Change Subscription”** button.
- Select the lower-tier plan (including the Free plan) that you'd like to downgrade to.
- Confirm your choice. A confirmation message will appear indicating the change will take effect on your **next billing date**.

## What Happens When I Downgrade My Subscription?

When you downgrade your subscription:

- Your **current plan stays active** until the **end of your current billing cycle**.
- The **downgraded plan** takes effect only on the **next renewal date**.

---

### **On the Downgrade Date:**

- Any **SmartQ** or **automation features** that are not included in your new plan will be **turned off**.
- You will only have access to the features available in your **new selected plan**.

**Note:** Downgrading does not provide a refund for the current billing period.

## Additional Tips

- If you want to **switch plans without losing access** immediately, downgrading is a safe way to make the change for the **next cycle**.
- You can **upgrade again** anytime from your dashboard if needed.
